Smiles Unlimited is based in the efforts
of Miriam and Paul Kleinberger.
After a life time of raising her family
and dabbling in art and theater, Miriam
went to clown school. She started to
perform publicly as
Senorita Soto The
Clown immediately after graduation in
1995.
Paul, an accomplished musician, spent a
year following her around. He got caught
up in the clowning community and went
off to clown school himself.
After a year or so of almost constant
solo performing to hone his new found
skills, Fuddi-Duddy joined Senorita Soto
and they began performing together as
"Jest A Couple of Clowns".
They were a hit where ever they
appeared. With Fuddi-Duddy acting as the
very confused and klutzy big kid around
town, Senorita Soto appeared as his
loving and encouraging partner, always
attempting to keep him on the straight
and narrow while tripping him up along
the way. Capital Region kids loved their
antics and routines. They clamored for
more. Parents, grandparents, teachers,
and pastors alike delighted in the
laughter that the routines of Jest A
Couple Of Clowns generated in area
schools, at family gatherings,
birthday parties,
company picnics and at special church
functions.
With the retirement of Senorita Soto in
early 2000, Jest A Couple of Clowns
became the foundation that supports the
continuing efforts of Smiles Unlimited
and is the springboard for thousands of
smirks, smiles, giggles and belly
laughs.
Smile!
You'll feel better.
Laugh!
You'll enjoy life!
